The Practice receives money from NHS Wales according to its contract for national General Medical Services in exchange for services provided for patients. Further information can be obtained on request in writing to the Practice Manager. The Practice Manager can be contacted at penygroes.surgery@wales.nhs.uk
Working closely with our colleagues in the Amman Gwendraeth Cluster to develop and improve services for patients in the local area.
Working towards achieving required standards such as Quality Assurance Framework (QAIF), Access Standards, Medicines Management, Patient Safety, IG toolkit and Clinical Governance Practice Self-Assessment Tool (CGPSAT).
Working with our neighbouring practices and the Health Board to continuously improve the services that are offered within Meddygfa Penygroes Surgery including facilities improvement and ongoing maintenance of the building.
Management policies are formulated at regular business meetings. Decisions affecting the provision of NHS services are recorded. These are available on written request (any information which is commercially sensitive or falls under the Data Protection Act is excluded).
Written requests should be forwarded to Meddygfa Penygroes Surgery, Bridge St, Penygroes SA14 7RP or by hand delivering a written request to our Reception Team for the attention of the Practice Manager. There may be a fee for this to include the costs associated with printing, photocopying and postage.
